Well, I don't really like this at all. I'm not the best at drawing but I did enjoy trying out charcoal. I wish I had had more time on this and maybe I could have made the composition better and added something to the background to make it a bit less boring.
for someone who doesnt like drawing all that much it does look good. funny thing is it looks like you have coffee in the cup and your necklace is in yoour coffee, i dont know about you but i like my necklaces not to be in my coffee :)

ReplyDeleteI agree with Meredith-- your persistence with this lesson really did pay off. Though, I would suggest creating different values above the horizon line than below. This could be done very quickly and could create dramatic results. This piece works and you should be proud.
You know whats really cool about this is that the texture is really soft. I feel like I am home whenever I look at it because the texture is so soft, it is almost like warmth.
